On October 8–12, 2025, in the Carpathians, The Aspen Institute Kyiv held a seminar for the top managers of the Ascania Group in synergy with graduates of Aspen seminars from previous years.
The event was dedicated to the topics of values, leadership, and resilience in times of uncertainty. Participants discussed current challenges, explored how philosophical ideas can help businesses act responsibly and strategically, and reflected on their own management experience.
The dialogue covered topics such as society in times of change, ethical dilemmas, justice, dignity, and the concept of a civic nation. Among the sources for reflection were the works of Seneca, Frankl, Clausewitz, Bauman, Zuboff, Erhard, and modern Ukrainian thinkers.
An important part of the seminar was a creative project — a space for teamwork, reflection, and shared exploration of meaning.
The seminar was moderated by Denys Poltavets, Director of Program Development at Aspen Institute Kyiv, and Viacheslav Rudnytskyi, CEO of the educational company Savvy and co-founder of the NGO New Vision. The event was coordinated by Alina Shkliaruk, Director of Seminar Programs at Aspen Institute Kyiv.
Such formats help business leaders integrate value-based approaches into strategic decision-making, foster a culture of dialogue and trust within teams, and strengthen inner resilience in challenging times.
Thank you to The Aspen Institute Kyiv for the partnership!
